The communication strategy was designed to be bilingual, catering to both the Polish and English-speaking audiences. I utilized a mix of digital and traditional channels, including the OVH.cloud website, social media platforms, press releases, industry publications, and networking events, to disseminate the program's messages effectively.


In this case study, I present my collaboration with OVH.cloud, a leading provider of cloud services, to revamp their Startup Program's communication strategy. The project aimed to increase the program's visibility, attract more startups, and foster long-term partnerships.

Scope

Communication Audit and Review

I began the project by conducting a thorough analysis of OVH.cloud's existing Startup Program communication practices. The audit focused on assessing brand awareness, evaluating past initiatives, and understanding why the desired outcomes were not achieved. This comprehensive review served as a foundation for identifying areas of improvement and formulating effective solutions.

Conceptualizing the Promotion Strategy

Based on the findings from the communication audit, I collaborated with OVH.cloud's team to outline long-term and short-term goals for the Startup Program. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) were defined to measure the success of the new strategy. The next step involved creating a robust brand awareness strategy, encompassing various elements:

Newsletter Revamp: We proposed a fresh and engaging concept for the program's newsletter, aimed at providing valuable content to startups while showcasing OVH.cloud's expertise and services.

PR Concept: A tailored PR approach was developed to highlight the program's success stories, accomplishments, and contributions to the startup ecosystem.

Media Partnerships: We identified and planned partnerships with relevant media outlets to amplify OVH.cloud's messages and reach a wider audience.

Dedicated Campaign for Startup Promotion

To attract more startups to the program, I devised a separate campaign exclusively focused on promoting the success stories and benefits offered to startups participating in the OVH.cloud Startup Program. This campaign aimed to create a compelling narrative that resonated with aspiring entrepreneurs and demonstrated the program's value proposition.

Summary

The successful implementation of the new communication and brand awareness strategies led to a significant increase in OVH.cloud's Startup Program visibility. The revamped newsletter received positive feedback, with higher engagement rates and increased subscriptions. The PR initiatives helped establish OVH.cloud as a prominent player in the startup ecosystem, attracting more startups to join the program.

The dedicated startup promotion campaign resulted in a surge of applications, leading to a record number of startups joining the OVH.cloud Startup Program. As a result, OVH.cloud solidified its position as a leading supporter of startup innovation in the cloud services industry.
