Social Capital: Will We Have Someone to Work With?

Poland has one of the lowest social capital ratios in Europe. Some researchers of this phenomenon fear that its deficit will prevent us from further economic growth. // Scope: researcher, co-author, editor. July 21, 2021.

Klaus Schwab, the president and founder of the World Economic Forum, while preparing a report on future job prospects for the upcoming Economic Forum, asked the heads of the largest companies (from ten industries and fifteen countries) to imagine what would impact employment, jobs, and skill development by the year 2020. They expressed the belief that the ability to solve complex problems comprehensively, as well as social and systemic skills, would be much more sought after in the near future than physical abilities or mere content understanding.
