Zuboff points out that in order to understand where we are headed and how to navigate the complex web of digital capitalism, we need to acknowledge that everything is in flux and each generation finds ways to define and redefine the key issues related to human well-being. Freedom is not a fixed concept, which is why it holds such sensitivity for people. Regardless of the stage at which we realize it is being limited and taken away, we will take action to bring about change and revolution.
