Online shopping. Choice, not impulse

In 2020, Poles made online purchases totalling over 15.3 billion euros, representing a growth of 31.4% compared to 2019. The Polish e-commerce market is one of the fastest-growing markets in Europe. Professor Tomasz Szlendak, a sociologist, suggests that schools should introduce a subject called "preparation for life in a consumer society."

What could we learn from it? For example, we don't fully understand our world, surrounded by constant advertisements of which we may not even be aware of their existence.
